PROJECT OVERVIEW
Wave City School reflects a progressive approach to educational design in India, promoting openness, interaction, and modern learning environments. Chosen from over 100 proposals, KC Studio’s design stands out for its innovative planning and focus on both academic and social growth.
The design is guided by the concept of “school as a living community.” The building is strategically positioned along the outer edge of the site, allowing the central core to remain open and active.
This inner zone accommodates key shared spaces such as the playground, canteen, and a professional-grade Olympic racing track, creating a balanced relationship between built structures and expansive open areas. Together, these elements form a dynamic campus that encourages movement, interaction, and holistic learning.

- Project Challenge
The challenge was to design a contemporary school campus that moves beyond conventional layouts and supports modern learning practices. The project needed to accommodate academic spaces, sports infrastructure, and social interaction areas while maintaining openness and a strong connection between built and outdoor environments.

The design adopted the concept of a “school as a living community.” The school building was strategically positioned along the site’s edge, allowing the central area to remain open for shared facilities such as the playground, canteen, and a professional-grade Olympic racing track. This planning approach created a balanced integration of built structures and active open spaces.

The result is a dynamic campus that encourages interaction, movement, and holistic development. By combining academic, recreational, and social spaces within a well-organized layout, the school offers a vibrant learning environment that supports both education and community engagement.
“Wasl Tower, a 64-storey mixed-use establishment situated prominently along Sheikh Zayed Road, stands as a testament to architectural finesse and functional versatility. Embracing a multifaceted it accommodates residential apartments, office spaces, restaurants, and a luxurious hotel within its towering structure. The tower stands tall at 302 meters with a substantial footprint covering 167,733 square meters.”
