Wellness Oasis
Landscaping, Since 2025 (Ongoing)
2025 (Ongoing)
PROJECT OVERVIEW
The Wellness Oasis is envisioned as a holistic landscape intervention for KC Overseas, MIHAN, designed to foster community, well-being, and connection with nature. At its core lies a contemporary interpretation of a Baoli, acting as a symbolic heart from which the entire site radiates, organizing spaces into a cohesive and meaningful experience.
The masterplan integrates zones for recreation, spirituality, and healing, including yoga decks, orchards, kitchen gardens, and contemplative spaces- woven together through meandering pathways. Responding to the site’s natural contours and lake-facing context, the design creates a seamless blend of built and natural elements, shaping a vibrant environment rooted in balance, movement, and togetherness.

● Project Challenge
The site faced water logging issues due to natural slope and low-lying zones, leading to inefficient drainage and underutilized landscape potential.
● Project Solution
A Baoli-inspired stepwell system was introduced as the central design element to collect, manage, and recharge water. This was integrated with the landscape through terracing and zoning, turning a drainage challenge into a functional and experiential feature.
● Project Outcome
The intervention transformed water management into a design-driven asset, reducing water logging while creating a unique social and visual focal point. The site now functions as a sustainable, resilient, and experiential wellness landscape.

“The Wellness Oasis has transformed our vision into a truly immersive landscape that goes beyond conventional design. KC Studio’s ability to turn a site challenge like water logging into a defining feature through the Baoli concept is both innovative and thoughtful. The integration of wellness, nature, and community spaces has created an environment that feels vibrant, meaningful, and deeply connected to its purpose. The design not only enhances the site aesthetically but also adds long-term ecological and experiential value.”
